Donation drive ongoing

After typhoon Karding wreaked havoc in different parts of Luzon, ABS-CBN Foundation quickly responded to residents of barangay San Miguel in Bulacan that experienced catastrophic flooding.

The Foundation quickly launched its relief operations, distributing relief packs to 775 families in barangay Batasan Bata in San Miguel, Bulacan. According to some residents, they were surprised when flood waters rose when typhoon Karding made its presence felt.

Meanwhile, barangay chairman Cris Delos Reyes expressed his gratitude to ABS-CBN. “Pambihira itong dinanas namin talaga. ‘Yan po ay napakalaking bagay para sa aking ka-barangay,” he said.

ABS-CBN Foundation continues to reach Filipinos affected by typhoon Karding through its relief operations. Besides food, families also need help to rehabilitate their homes and assistance to restart their livelihood.

ABS-CBN now accepts cash through their authorized bank accounts. In-kind donations are also accepted via the ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya Warehouse. Donors are encouraged to call the warehouse first before dropping off their in-kind donations by contacting Arian Acebedo or Pat (09695196436).
