In pursuit of inclusive and quality education, ABS-CBN Foundation and Fuji Electric Sales Philippines Inc. officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last June 17 to support out-of-school youth and adults under the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in Masantol, Pampanga. This initiative is in partnership with Programa Genio, the Foundation’s educational arm.
The project focuses on providing essential educational supplies and classroom fixtures to the newly renovated ALS Community Learning Center, located at Bebe Matua Elementary School, the first Community Learning Center in the south district of Masantol. This brings us closer to creating an engaging, safe, and comfortable learning environment for our ALS learners!
The agreement was formalized by ABS-CBN Foundation Managing Director Roberta Lopez-Feliciano and Fuji Electric Sales Philippines Inc. President Yoshiyasu Ishikawa, along with Programa Genio Program Head Maricar Estole, and Fuji Electric representatives Victoria Nieva (Senior Marketing Officer), Mara Arroyo (Assistant Finance Manager), Jezza Perez (Assistant Admin Manager), and Kath Reyes (HR Officer).
Mr. Ishikawa emphasized that this partnership aligns with his belief that education has the power to transform lives and uplift communities, especially in underserved areas that are often overlooked and under-resourced.
Sincere gratitude to Fuji Electric Sales Philippines Inc. for standing with us in this mission! This collaboration is a testament to the enduring commitment of both entities to break down barriers and champion an education that prioritizes learners from all walks of life. Truly, together, we can achieve more!
