(We’re happy that Bantay Bata 163 gave us a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed the games and they gave us food and toys. I learned that as a child, I have the right to education, play, and health.”
Thrilled and overwhelmed, Featriz Uriza, a sixth grade student of Wakat Elementary School in Calauan, Laguna, expressed her gratitude to Bantay Bata 163 for celebrating Children’s month in their school.

The National Children's Month Celebration reminds us that children deserve to be loved and protected at all times. In line with this annual celebration, Bantay Bata 163 Laguna, together with its donors and partners, conducted children’s activities in Brgy. Dayap, Bayanijuan sa SouthVille 7, Calauan, Laguna and at Wakat Elementary School in Nagcarlan, Laguna.
With the help of generous donors, Bantay Bata 163 distributed food, toys, and some grocery items for kids. Aside from the games, basic children’s rights and responsibilities were taught to a total of 500 children.
Our school is honored to be working with Bantay Bata 163. This is a big help for us to be aware of the importance of the Children’s Month celebration. Through this initiative, they were able to share their advocacy and made the teachers, parents, and especially the children, understand their rights and responsibilities) said Antonio V. Daban, Head Teacher at Wakat Elementary School.
“Nagpapasalamat po ang buong Bantay Bata 163 sa tulong na ibinigay ng mga sponsors namin dahil natupad po ang mga pangarap ng mga bata na mapasaya sa kanilang special na araw,” (Bantay Bata 163 is thankful for the help of our sponsors for making the children happy on their special day) expressed Mark Morfe, Bantay Bata 163 Laguna Social Worker.
