This month, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared that COVID-19, as a global health emergency, is over. ABS-CBN Foundation would like to thank one of its partners, International Pharmaceutical Inc. (IPI), who supported the Foundation’s relief and pandemic efforts in underserved communities.
Last year, IPI generously donated Php 2million worth of alcohol that benefitted more than 11,000 families in the following communities who were struck by Typhoon Karding and Neneng:
- Bulacan – 3781 families
- Pampanga – 1715 families
- Aurora – 2337 families
- Cabanatuan – 500 families
- Quezon Province – 2278 families
- Cagayan – 818 families
The donation was made to help implement preventive pandemic measures and ensure sanitation among our Kapamilyas. It also augmented the relief packs and hygiene kits sent by ABS-CBN Foundation.
IPI’s donation reflects its strong 25-year commitment to support the marginalized and needy. By helping ABS-CBN Foundation’s pandemic relief initiatives, IPI demonstrates its profound understanding of the urgent needs of the Filipino people, particularly in the face of unprecedented health challenges.
