To continue building a #ChildSafePhilippines, the ABS-CBN Foundation Bantay Bata 163 and the Project MIND Network of Volunteers launched their first Skill Building Webinar last September 20.
🙋‍♀️ The event was joined by 50 volunteers and participants from Manila, Bulacan, Oriental Mindoro, Sorsogon, and Batangas, along with members of the ABS-CBN Foundation Bantay Bata 163 Children and Youth Advocacy Council (CYAC)—all present and eager to learn new skills from the webinar.
🎯 During the session, BB163 Program Head Levi Ambon-Rota, RSW, shared insights that deepened the volunteers’ understanding of Child Protection, which will help them in their community engagements. Through this, they’ll be able to better understand children’s needs and provide the right psychosocial support.
🙌 The PMIND Network of Volunteers is a group of trained mental health volunteers under Bantay Bata 163 who join us in providing basic mental health support services to children and parents during times of crisis, such as the Mindoro Oil Spill and Typhoon Kristine.
