In a shared commitment to mobilize communities for a meaningful cause, the ABS-CBN Foundation and MNL City Run officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at The Bellevue Manila to mount Kapamilya Run 2026, a fundraising run that celebrates the Filipino spirit of bayanihan in helping communities in need.

The event will take place on June 14, 2026, at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, bringing together runners, families, communities, and even fur-friends for a day of fitness, connection, and purpose.

Organized by MNL City Run for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation, the event encourages individuals and communities to take part in collective action that creates meaningful impact. Proceeds from the run will support the Foundation’s programs that serve vulnerable Filipino communities nationwide.

Kapamilya Run 2026 will feature race categories for runners of all levels, including 10K, 5K, and 3K distances, as well as a 1K Dog Run for participants who want to bring their furry companions.

More than a running event, Kapamilya Run 2026 highlights the power of helping each other, reminding participants that simple collective actions, such as running together for a cause, can uplift lives and support communities in need.

“MNL City Run, with the hope of helping people, started as a charity run. The running community embraced it, and it grew from there. We look forward to providing an avenue for runners to run not just for themselves or for their health, but also to create a difference and help other people,” said Mr. Ruel Cruz, CEO and Founder of MNL City Run.

The ABS-CBN Foundation leads programs that support children’s rights (Bantay Bata 163), environmental protection (Bantay Kalikasan), disaster response (Sagip Kapamilya), education (Programa Genio), and sustainable livelihood (GaLing Pamayanan). Participation in the run will help support beneficiary families and communities under these programs.

“We’re here because our values, vision, and heart align. We’re fortunate that they are also committed to helping and uplifting communities and people,” said Roberta Lopez-Feliciano, Managing Director of the ABS-CBN Foundation.

Meanwhile, MNL City Run continues to build a growing running community through accessible and engaging races that promote health, community participation, and meaningful advocacy.
