In a significant boost for STEM education in Romblon, a generous donation of ₱2.6 million was made by the honorable Congressman Eleandro Jesus F. Madrona supporting ABS-CBN Foundation’s Programa Genio project titled ROBOTEACH. This initiative is designed to upskill teachers and students in Romblon in STEM, with a focus on robotics training.
The first phase of the project will deliver 5 robotics kits to 27 schools in the province, while the second phase will provide the remaining 25 schools with their kits, covering all 52 schools in the Schools Division of Romblon. This comprehensive approach ensures that every school in the division will have access to essential tools and training to enhance their science and technology programs.
Special thanks go to the School Division of Romblon for their invaluable contributions in making this project a reality. Their efforts have paved the way for this initiative to uplift the province’s education system through technology and innovation.
